Rambling

Ever had so much in your head and there is so much you want to just get out but when you finally get to you don't even know the words to say? That's my current issue. I feel overwhelmed lately bc i have so much on my mind. which of course, you know me, i worry about 99.9% of what i am thinking about which causes me to think more and worry more....
"ohhhhhhhh ohhhh sweet child of mine" -sorry, guns n' roses interrupted me.
Such a good song. I've had my music playing all day. and yes for those of your wondering, i spent my whole memorial day at home, being lazy. why? bc i needed it. i needed to rest after a nonstop week! plus i was able t do some things i wanted(found my room ...again... lol, made a somewhat mental list of things to pack for Florida and what i need at the store, spent some time with my Jared, slept in!)  I was exhausted today, i woke up that way.  my weekend was fun, don't get me wrong, just very long and tiring.  Friday was pretty long, watched my worley kids and then had to run home, find something for both Jared and I to wear to RHS Graduation(found the CUTEST zebra print dress) and fought with my hair. ok, so i attempted curling my hair 3 TiMES that day.... i had the right sprays and stuff I needed and it wouldn't take 5 min and the beautiful curls would be split straight(yes i was very ill)  but thankfully i had plenty of time to straighten my hair back and went to a wonderful graduation for matt murdoch.  I definitely teared up quite a bit. you wouldn't believe the amount of pride that was felt throughout the arena as soon as the students started walking in. everyone was cheering and clapping for them. and that's pretty much how it was the whole night. And for those seniors to stick together and be strong, holding together even exactly one month later, making it to graduation, they have SO much to be thankful for.  and they were.  i didn't get in bed that night until 1 a.m.(it started at 8... and then we went to taco bell w friends... so you know how that went. lol)  poor Jared had to be up at 4 that morning too to head down to forsyth w a friend. he was exhausted!  i got to sleep in a little(hehe)  spent the later half of that day at 1890s day, which i LOVED seeing all the blue and white on so many people. =] my uncle and a friend of his came in that day too and we all ended up back at the house with icecream and playing Nintendo till like 12.... (late night number 2)  Jared got back from forsyth sun morning and we both went to Brainerd Hill Baptist that morning. GREAT service =] and enjoying seeing Elijah Daves and Alex Lewis. they treated us to lunch and if was so great to spend time with some good friends.  Jared was soooo tired though that i had to keep him awake during service(poor thing)  then we met my parents at Chattanooga market(stayed for like 10 minutes, its was ok. also, its was on the way here that my air conditioner was completely not cold anymore... i have a freon(sp?) leak....yay...)  we left and met my uncle and his friend by the aquarium and took them to sweetcece's.  If you have never been, oh my goodness. Its the most delicious Frozen yogurt EVER.  and really, before you say EW yogurt, it tastes just like ice cream. i am not even kidding. i tried kiwi strawberry sorbet and put blueberries and strawberries on it. SO GOOD.  http://www.sweetceces.com/    ~ you should check it out =] its my most favorite place ever. for food. lol
we walked all over Coolidge and what not just to show them around and i got burnt(my beginning work, preparing me for Florida! lol)  Sat at the ice cream show to cool off a little bit and just talk while we waited on my brother to get off work and the fam meet us an Genghis grill(if you haven't eaten there, you need to. you will never leave hungry.)  we then went to coldstone creamery(good stuff!) and i got an Oh Fudge milkshake(the calories on that thing almost gave me a stroke after i looked it up)  then we all walked down the pier beside the riverbend stage.  I haven't been to riverbend in YEARS... but i think Florida is a much better choice. lol
ever tried to sing the beginning of the lion king? funny stuff. i know random, but circle of life just started playing on my Pandora radio, i had to share. lol

anyways, we got to see the chatt lookouts fireworks(which were pretty sweet) then headed home.  and was in bed by 1130 12(late night number 3)  i slept in till almost 12 today. that heat was what really wiped me out yesterday.  but it was worth it =]
I really have no idea why i just told you about my whole weekend...
and i need to go to bed.... but I'm not sure the sleep is going to come easily tonight. say a prayer. Jared has his physical training test for Calhoun city fire department tomorrow. I think that's my biggest stress right now.  I am SO ready for him to catch a break and get a full time job like he wants. He works so hard and he deserves it.  and it really breaks my heart when he gets so far and then gets told no. I know its all in God's time, but its so hard remembering to trust that when we both get down. thankfully we balance each other out. =] I am so proud of him.  I cant even tell you.  and I love him more than i can express. he really is the best for me, God sent me him for a reason and I'm SO thankful he did.  I couldn't ask for anyone better.
Goodnight world. Its time for bed.

Surrounded by Books

Earlier today, I was sitting in the middle of my floor reading Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter. I was a site, with tubs and boxes and piles of books scattered everywhere. But I was lost in this book from my child hood. Why? Because I wanted to. I wanted to do something for me, which was take a moment to read a book that I loved as a child and take a break from the "which pile should this book go in ? Should I take this one to use? Maybe I should leave this one here..."  Revisiting stories that I grew up loving.... You find out that they never get old and you never forget the story. I guess moments like that have been sparse for me for quite some time. Jared had told me that I needed to start doing things for "me," stuff that I wanted to do.  Having a moment of me time instead of going full force for everything and everyone else. So I've been trying, and it's not always consistent, but I am learning how good it is for me, like taking a moment to enjoy a pi...

"The time has come," The Walrus said, "To talk of many things..."

"...Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, O f cabbages and kings.   And why the sea is boiling hot,  And whether pigs have wings." Why not start off a blog with on of my favorite lines from one of my favorite stories. Alice in Wonderland.  It pretty much sums up the essence of this blog.  For I have a lot to say, a lot to share, a lot to talk about.  So this is your warning, you do not have to read it all. So, I'm going to start with elaborating on my last days of my 30 days of thankful(since I missed it) I know it was way back in November, but I have it on my heart to share. You'll find out why I missed it soon enough. I have really missed my blog! So I left off at day 26.  For Brokenness.  Monday the 26th, I was ready to quit at everything. I was overwhelmed and frustrated and just ready to stop.  I was so tired of school and had completely screwed up on a few things, as well as failed my math test.  I had bills to pay and no money, have...

As of Lately.....

I feel like my blog is full of cobwebs.... Haven't written in a while! And trust me I have a lot to share.  Yes, I know, I am in class right now and should be intently watching these presentations that are jsut SO interesting......(not) but really, I can't focus on them. They aren't anything that I need for my finals anyway. Finals...yes.  Next week I have finals.  Ready for it to be OVER.  I have everything I need turned in for the Education program in the fall and should be hearing from them sometime during the summer. Passed the GACE ;) SO thankful for that. I was way stressed.  Really enjoying my Education classes(unless I'm sitting here doing something pointless like today).  The papers haven't been too awful either, its just been a lot, very time consuming as you can tell since I haven't wrote in a while!  The worst part has been the people.... Thre are jsut soem people that I am like... If you become a teacher.... oh my goodness....  Not onl...
